I'm also interested in which species will bite (if provoked). All documentation I could find about spider species local to NW Europe tell you they are harmless (with one exception, a wolf spider species), their fangs to tiny and venom to weak. The wolf spider could be as bad as a wasp sting.

This was a test of a new tube with plunger. Not very successful yet. The tube was a little to wide with sharp edges (might have worked with more/better preparations) and I needed one hand to operate the camera, making the action with my other hand a bit clumsy.

@marvoo That's also my problem. Despite my 'encouragement' they turn around and come back out. They like cool, moist, but not wet environments. And hate (traces of) urine. So I flushed with cold water and now it was to wet or not cold enough. Or just no luck with this one.
