@dutchkinker I think part of the bite vs an injection of venom is if the prey is going to escape. I also noticed when the bite was on tougher skin they are more aggressive. I have received bruises when the house spider was angered and on tough skin. If you have other questions I will try to be less long-winded.

@dutchkinker the little black house spider injects venom. A little at a time, but if you shake him a little he will inject more. He thinks you are getting away.

@dutchkinker This spider is actually eating head. They don't have venom that I am aware of, but every time they bit is painful to a lesser degree than a wasp or bee. They will feed as long as you let them.

I'm also interested in which species will bite (if provoked). All documentation I could find about spider species local to NW Europe tell you they are harmless (with one exception, a wolf spider species), their fangs to tiny and venom to weak. The wolf spider could be as bad as a wasp sting.

@jhank I didn't know any spiders that bit people on their own, so I asked. Thanks for answering.

@oiugfd654 The little black spider in my other videos is actually injecting venom and sucking blood. You can see the swelling on some angles

@oiugfd654 he is actually chewing. Like ants this type of spider won't stop until you stop it. He is in a container . He wouldn't bite until I shook him up a little. I don't remember who told me that trick.
