I would have liked it better if:
1. We could see his face, to get an idea of his feelings about being hanged
2. There were some indication that he was consenting

If I recognize it as coming from a paysite, I don't use or post it. Otherwise, it's "fair game".

This one fell into that last category: no attribution, I don't know where it came from, so I just used it.

One easy way to recognize my stories: they're formatted. Paragraphs are separated by blank lines. I will often use some mark to indicate italics and boldface -- e.g., <i>..</i>, and <b>...</b> or _..._ and *...*.
