I can't fap with a creepy looking Santa cumming on Elves... shoot me. Fortunately some custom filters on AdBlockPlus seem to have taken care of this. I actually had it disabled on Motherless because the ads here weren't that obtrusive and ABP made some things display odd but not now. I don't like having to use it, but for now it is my best solution.
Well I officially won't be coming back to motherless for a while. I can't look at that fucking christmas shit and creepy santa the whole time.
isn't modified/removed my bad typd this very late lol
Well I just had a bit of a concern with the new DareDorm ad that seems to appear on every page. While I could care less about advertisements flashing and moving and such the fact that scrolling your mouse over it makes it play sound seems a step too far.
I will be the first to say I don't use an Ad Blocker on principle because I know all these wonderful free websites I visit rely on advertising money to keep things going strong but if this ad is modified/removed I will have to start considering one.
Please guys it's doing my head in especially when it's late at nigth and I'm watching a video with poor audio quality and turn my laptop al the way up and accidentally scroll my mouse over the ad.
I think the main thing I would like to see as far as categories go, is the ability to block content that I don't want to see. This would automatically increase the amount of content I do want to see
In this instance you could add a user flagging filter (a setting I could select in my profile) and instead of blocking the content totally (unless of course I have already opted to view this particular kind of content) It could bring up a warning message if a certain number of users have flagged it.
In my thinking this would just have some of the more offensive categories for some (gore, incest caption crap, bathroom play, etc.) Things that some people find offensive but aren't technically illegal or against TOU.
This same kind of system could be added to things I do want to see as well by allowing users to tag pictures. Again, I think the best way to filter this would be to automatically add the tag to the picture once x amount of users tag it as such, as well as if I tag it send the person who uploaded it a notice and they can approve the tag if they think it fits.
