Maybe the boyfriend is setting this whole thing up, and he thinks it's funny dropping hints that it is all a fake. She is just going to have to ask her mom to read all the comments, it's the only way she can be sure. Then again her mom could be just as big of a liar. What if there isn't even a boyfriend and it's been her dad changing his voice while her mom watches on the camera installed in the top corner of the room that she will never be able to find.

Or I guess you could go a step further to say that her whole existence is based on faith. She could just be some severely autistic girl rocking in a corner somewhere. This whole reality of hers could all be in her imagination and she would be none the wiser. What a sad prospect, she concocted a reality in her autistic addled mind in which she was blind so she can never measure her own beauty by the standards of her own reality, thus she will never know if she can fit in. I suppose it is all inconsequential since it is all just figments. It's just sad to see a severely autistic girl torture herself, especially when her brain invents hints like this one to point out her true nature.
