Last week my sister-in-law got a new computer and she wanted me to get her documents from the old one and put them on the new one. I used my flash drive and did it. I was going to erase my flash drive but I decided to look at her stuff first. When I looked at her pictures she had a lot of empty folders and a lot of family photos. But one folder had some awesome nude shots of her. I've been jacking off to them for a week. I think the reason why she had so many empty files is because she had more nude pictures of herself and the one I found she didn't erase by mistake. Does anyone know if it is possible to recover the deleted files or do I need to recover them from her computer?

First you need to post the ones you found.

Yes. Delete system 32 on your computer. This will recover anything you have ever lost or deleted ever.

I'm on my iPhone right now so I can't post any but when I get a chance I will for sure. Her computer is a pc and I use a mac. So, can I still recover the files that are on flash drive or do I need to get at her old computer? I hope I can just some how recover the files from my flash drive I don't think I can get at her computer anymore.

You need access to the old pc to recover more files. You need to think of a good reason why you need access to it - perhaps you accidentally transferred some important files from your drive to her pc, because you can't find them now, and need to check to make sure?

Her deleted files (pics) won't be on your flash drive if they were deleted on her pc. The way the recovery works is to look in the physical location where the files were stored on the pc before they were 'deleted'. They were never physically stored on your flash drive.

Very roughly speaking, when a file is deleted on a pc it isn't actually deleted from the hard disk. What's deleted is the reference to the file; i.e. how to find the file on the disk, and the space taken up by the file is marked as available for new files. So eventually on a well used drive the deleted file will get physically written over by new files.

So, if you're quick enough, or the machine is hardly or no longer used, or if the hard drive is big and empty enough, you can often recover deleted files by simply checking the empty space on the drive, or checking old 'deleted' references if they exist. This is roughly what a recovery application does.

Beyond this we have the physics of the hard drive which says that usually data bits do not get written in the exact place as old data bits, so the 'edges' of old bits can still be present and found. Some applications can perform such a forensic scan of a hard drive and have a very good recovery rate, which is why so-called 'true delete' programs also exist that write over the old physical data 7 or so times to try to wipe out the edges of old data. However these kinds of program if not kindly written can be very intensive on the hard drive in terms of wear, so be careful with them. Often flash drives in particular perform badly (slowly) after attempting such recoveries on them.

Step one. Do something to screw up her old computer so you can fix it or dispose of it.

Step two. Use Stellar Phoenix or a ghost tool to create an uncompressed image of the entire hard drive (on another, larger drive)

Step three. Open the file in jpegsnoop and search forward through the entire drive image. jpegsnoop will have a much better chance of recovering photos than an undelete tool.

fyi Forensic data recovery is beond your capabilities so if you don't find it in the drive image then give up.

OK so I spent all night trying 3 different file recover programs before having success with pandora. She only had 4 nude pictures and they were all pussy shots. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to have them and I did jack off to them and I plan to do it again tonight. I just wish that she had some pictures of her tits. I don't know what's up with her boyfriends, she has awesome tits and between all the pictures that I have found none. Anyways, this is my favorite that I was able to recover last night.

Only the remaining (non-deleted) files are copied to the flashdrive, so if you want to try to recover any deleted files, it has to be done on that old computer.
