Today I signed a lease to a fucking gorgeous 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom house today. Even though I love the house I'm terrified of the new city I have to move to because I have been in this City too long and I dislike change. I also confess that I hate to have to drag my so called roommate along and even though he's a sorry excuse for a man and cannot even afford $200 rent for a whole room in my old house, I am letting him sleep in the house for $100 a month. Even though he's twice my age and cannot get his life together I still feel terrible that I have to allow him to live in my pantry or my mud room and not I don't have the heart to kick him to the streets even though he acts like he's having to sacrifice when I have gave him a home for 3 months already. I dislike being nice because I get myself in fucked up predicaments that I should have never gotten myself in to. Fuck!!!

Thanks for the tits honey.

So he's a sorry excuse, eh? If he isn't doing shit or hasn't done shit to better his situation by getting help or doing enough work, then he's nothing but a lazy son of a bitch. He deserves to lose what he has, BECAUSE he's not working for it.

I understand your concern for him walking out to the streets, because it's very probable he will get himself into deeper shit; however, he more or less chose to live for the moment and not for his future. Unfortunately, his fate is set. The only thing is that he's lasting his days in "normalcy" through you--spending you. Don't take it as being your fault. You've given him a long chance to fix himself. He had his opportunities, but never took them.

You need to let him go, but nicely so he doesn't go looking for you. Best give him money and tell him to be careful on his own, because you can't keep supporting him.

"When I Say No, I Feel Guilty" by Manuel J. Smith.

Good book. Give it a read.
