Having said that....
I thought that fishing for Largemouth bass was over. It's October. Thought they'd all be hibernating.
A nice senior gentleman argued otherwise. "My son just caught a bass. It's still warm enough. What's stopping you?"
So i gave it another try. And I very much enjoyed being proven wrong!

I just got a largemouth. He hit strong. Fought hard. Then nothing.
"I lost him."
but then i feel him fighting again. He had raced one way and i no longer felt him fighting. But he was still on.
then he's jumping out of the water. i'm like "shit! i hope that my line doesn't break!"
He jumps again and again. But i landed him! :)
So life is good for me despite not having a sex life. Hope that everyone else is doing well also.
Disclaimer: This bass was only 11 inches. But my fishing line is 20 years old. And it was meant for teeny tiny bluegills/sunfish.
