My boyfriend is deployed right now and I'm getting anxious for his return. I don't know when that will be. We don't get to talk much and it's killing me. I haven't cheated on him, but the temptation is starting to creep up on me. I know its silly, but I let a guy hold my hand on Halloween in a spook house. It felt good. Anyone have the same experience with their other being deployed? How did you handle it?

My girl cheated on me when I was deployed. Still screwed up today over it. Look at porn and fuck your dildo. Do some harmless flirting. If you need touch, get with another girl. He wouldn't mind that. But don't take another dick unless you break up with him in this situation.

Have deployed multiple times. If you were to do something with someone else, break it off first. It can ruin him. If he is really in a place with limited communication, that life is not easy. Limited heating or cooling if any, lack of contact with the outside world, being away from the person he cares about. Not to mention if he is in a combat zone ( which if limited com, most likely he is) dealing with whatever is going on in that area ( loss of life). Generally the longest deployment is 7 months to 1 year overseas. I understand the longing for touch. Trust me, i'm deployed as well. Away from my wife and kid. I have access to internet so i at least have the ability to talk this time. Its hard being the one left behind. Its hard being lonely. But its harder being away, going through everything someone goes through to come home and realize that their significant other couldn't stay faithful or at least grow a pair and break it off.

I’ve been on the opposite of the same coin. For us it was hard at first but then we had a discussion The verdict for us( I know I’m using that phrase a lot) was no diseases ,no kids don’t , rub it in my face , no one around our kids and no relationships. Also no mutual friends That being said I was gone an average of 200 or more days a year. So we decided to set those rules and it worked for us for a long time.
