what charging to do this to other people's pictures? No. I've looked it up. As long as you're not harassing them or have criminal intent any photo's that are given to you for editing are not subject to anything legal as long as I'm not putting up billboards lol.
I'm operating out of the USA. Unless I'm making billboards with someone's images and making money from the billboard, or have their likeness in some kind of advertisement or in the public - if someone gives me a photo to edit I can do what I want. If there is an image on the internet that I want to edit, it isn't illegal for me to edit that image at all. Public domain. So, let's say I'm in public and I take a picture of a woman, she can't have me arrested because she is in public. If someone shares an image with me, I can't be arrested for editing that shared image because I'm not the source of the image - if that makes sense? It would be awfully hard for a court to convict me of any crime if someone sent me an image to artistically edit or x-ray.
I'd love to see her doing this lol.
