I will actually disagree with your comments about HDTV and Blu Ray. Blu Ray actually can do more than a regular DVD. Unfortunately, it's like comparing a Laserdisc to a VHS. 99.9% of the userbase really can't tell the difference. Without the right setup, you're not missing much, but with the right setup, it makes all the world of difference.
