@ the people who have actually hooked up through this site or somewhere else, what was it like? I can't say I'm looking to do it myself, but i find the idea of two strangers going at it to be pretty hot. Do you take precautions? Do you guys go out on a small date before hand?

I've had three different women contact me through this site who claimed they wanted us to hook up. Each seemed quite sincere. We exchanged email address and/or toe IDs so we could continue our conversations outside this site, and each sent me photos. All three continued our contact for several weeks, and then -- "ghosted." Never heard from them again, so either these were catfishing expeditions or else it was never their intention to follow through.
That said, I did have a few hookups via Craigslist (including one year-long relationship), and an 18-month FWB relationship via Ashley Madison with a 28 y/o A/A woman (I was 65 at the time). But for the average guy who's not well-hung and isn't very good-looking (I fall into both categories), it's an extremely long shot.
