Can one of you dipshits explain why the uploaders add the word "claim" to some videos ? is this yet another stupid American thing ?
I'm assuming that I'm not the only one baffled by this.

Dipshit here,.
The "claim" tag isn't something we add,
Basically if your an uploader every time someone favourite's one of your pics/videos it counts towards a number of credits,
Credits are a form of motherless currency and for the first say 500 favourite's on one image/video you earn 5 credits (as an example, I cant remember the exact figures)
If a random/non registered user uploads a pic/videos to one of the boards it'll just show the user as "Anon"
however if you are a registered user you have the option to "Claim" said pic, this means any favourite's the pic gets you get the credits for.
when you do claim a pic it adds "Claim" to the title.

Stupid American thing? Sounds like you should just give up on assuming all together. Where does someone of your superior intellect call home? I'm thinking Europe, but I've met dipshits from all over , and I'd hate to assume the wrong "thing".
