i confess that i think republicans should get with the times. healthcare is one day going to change. gays will be allowed to marry, etc. they need to stop trying to live in the 50's

I'm firmly in the party of Not-Giving-A-Fuck. The system isn't perfect (voting) and even if we put the best possible person in the White House, there's still the dumbasses in Congress. Red Dawn is looking more and more positive each day.
Though I agree with OP. I understand "conservative," but in a few years we'll look back on this whole "gay marriage" thing just like we look back on people opposing women's rights or civil rights for African Americans. There's a separation of church and state, therefore "moral right" should have NOTHING to do with any argument against gay marriage. *sigh* fuck it, I'm too tired to even be thinking about this crap.
