@Her_Comeuppance They pay more over here and are just trying to shoot as quickly as possible. While hopefully editing a movie out of the ashes. That's why Bill (PST) had so many jump cuts and hated dialog. It made his editing style almost impossible. So many crappy jump cuts! JohnM compensated with his shitty sloppy camera style and was incredibly lazy about effects. He would often bitch about having to do ligture marks. @Trashed747 Totally agree about the quality. I appreciate that producers like Amazon Warriors and Dark Rooms are at least trying to achieve good production values and other innovations.

@Her_Comeuppance Mae was one of the best. She could handle intensity when put to the task. However, those flicks with Bruce Venture were largely a poorly directed mess with a couple decent scenes. He seemed to make everything about himself. We aren't here to see him. But much of that is on the direction/camerawork. Not Mr. caveman/horse dick. But i prefer killers that largely stay out of frame. Those flicks were just another poorly made custom mess. Like most erotic horror, sadly.
