The Legend of Zelda (Japanese: ゼルダの伝説 Hepburn: Zeruda no Densetsu?) is a high fantasy themed action-adventure series created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka and Eiji Aonuma. I confess, when I was 11 I had a neigbor girl same age.
I was just hanging around and stuff, playing Nintendo and what not.
One day, haven't seen her in like 1 month( that was a loong time at that age) she was calling me to come over.
So we talked "how areyou/ what are you doing" in her parents living room, when she said "Look what I found in my parents video collection" and started the VHS.

When I was younger in 1995 I had to have the Super Game Boy.

The Super Game Boy is a 16-bit adapter cartridge for Nintendo's Super Nintendo Entertainment System, as well as the Super Famicom in Japan. It was the first Game Boy-based add-on to a Nintendo console. The Super Game Boy allows game cartridges designed for use on the Game Boy to be played on a TV display using the SNES/Super Famicom controllers.

I needed to have it because I wanted to play my GameBoyGames in Full color on a screen. At that time every day without it felt like torture.

I never got it.

Today I think back and I am amazed at how unimportant that device is. I presume I wouldn't even have had the patience to colorize(yeah you had to assign 16 colors manually) it.

Whenever I want a new device now I think back to the time when I desperately needed the Super Game Boy and more often than not refrain from buying one of those new gadgets.
