It was a pleasurable / slightly painful sensation (in a good way) while they were in, with little pricks now and then. Afterwards it stung a bit while peeing for about 1-2 days, then all back to normal, no infection. Also particles from the wood shaving got pushed in with one of the maggots and scraped my urethra, would have been much less otherwise I think.
