    They should have gutted her first. Stuffed her with stuffing mix before sewing her up and putting her over the hot coals. Doing it right, she would still be a live as she starts to cook, but not long. It would be nice seeing her still aware of what is happening to her. Just shoving the spit up through her would penetrate her intestines and causing her to expand and eventually explode over the fire. She would also most likely be dead before being put over the fire
