Because this question has the 1*0 in it, the answer IS 7. If the question didn't have 1*0, the answer would be 5. Everyone who said 7 is correct. Everyone who said 5 ignored the 1*0 entirely from the question. Just because the answer to 1*0 is 0 doesn't mean you are aloud to ignore it on the next step.
Put 6-(1*0)+(2/2) into a calculator and you'll get 7. (assuming you actually add in the brackets)
