Circumcised Women Forum   If a european woman marry a Sudanese man

I am sure some white/European or American woman marry a man from Sudan or Somalia, the African family may have some requirements to let that happen. To be accepted she may have to undergo some surgery. I wonder if..this happens

Yes, I have spoken to a few women from the West who have married and then agreed to be infibulated or circumcised from many countries in the Middle East and Africa. Even all parts of the world from not just the Sudan and Somalia. Also the daughters of the mothers have been modified also some with their agreement and others against. Why do you ask this question may ask you?

I very strongly advise you do not to spring any surprises on your new bride because that often ends a marriage very quickly. Be very open and honest things with her and why you believe and want her modified and how it is done. Be very patient talking to her about it and slow explaining things. It can be a great shock to Western woman's mind and if not handled well can end relationship. Her mind may throw up blocks right away, so if she seems very defensive back off and leave it for a couple weeks. Let her work it threw her mind and let your relationship grow on other grounds first. Then try another way to talk about it, maybe in a more fatherly or story like manner but take your time and never it. It may take a couple years I know woman in China who asked a lot question about it, then one day on trip to Dubai she changed her mind and up and decided to be infibulated for her Saudi Husband. Some people said she would never get done but she did, she just needed time to think things threw and let herself know that what she was giving up was worth it. Now she very happy for it she says. Some people want to know that the high price they pay is for real, kind of wise I think. She's a very smart woman.

So if and when she accepts things, seek out the best care possible for her; that you two can afford. Realize that this a very special gift she giving you and that you should it as that and never the other way around. She doing it because she loves great deal and because she has too. Western women pride themselves on their freedoms and their love for the person they love so never ever take it as you are taking it from her for she is gifting a very deep meaning and personal part of her body to you because she see you as someone special in her life and deserving of it. Understood! The Female Western mind is trained from childhood to understand personal freedom first foremost for all people and this the greatest of all things for all people everywhere, it is the same for the Male mind here also.

Hope this helps you but again I ask why do you ask this question? Understand we don't oppose such marriages, we welcome them but why the need to ask it? It does seem happen more in the UK and Common Wealth Countries mostly because I assume Sudan and I believe Somalia are part of the Common Wealth and thus have easier access to these countries. Against the will of the daughters or the will of the mother?
Do they infibulate the daughters from previous relations as a part of the new marriage?

Also the daughters of the mothers have been modified also some with their agreement and others against.

I am just curious, I know there are many western woman that want it done but also woman in relationships with African Men want to submit to their wishes. I agree it can be seen as a beautiful gift to the man. I believe it should be easier to have it done for adult woman.
I am also curious about where it is done.

I don't think western society really understand these things very well.
