@Marie_S_F My friend talked to him yesterday. He took the work down because of problems with the models' rights. Also he has lost a lot of the hi-res originals due to computer troubles. And life is hard now, obviously, in Russia.

@Marie_S_F Back of the head... there's a whole series of her in this setting, shifting, with the (male, monstrous) figure behind her and embracing her. I'll look for some of the others that I still have. I know someone who knows him; p'raps I can get some of the works I loved the most that I've unfortunately lost.

@Marie_S_F I know it's photoshopped (so are a lot of Karchin's photos; there's nothing inherently wrong with altering photos and it can be artistic... in the case of e.d., it's anyhow a disease of the mirror, with a stark difference between the subjective and objective body image). And Cinderella was definitely not healthy when she performing... I can tell; I was bulimic when I was younger.

Her skin, yes. On a 1 to 10 scale, it rates at least an 11! I'll admit I've suffered from insane jealousy ever since I first laid eyes on S. It's not only her pallor; it's that she is positively, literally luminous.

@HumH The thing is that some girls are naturally skinny, some are naturally skinny and starve themselves (&/or puke, take laxatives, etc.), and some girls are _not_ naturally skinny. O.D. wasn't at all skinny in the first shoots. She lost weight to model. Now she is fat again.

@HumH I _can_ imagine; I'm Eastern European, 179, 47. I think you're wrong about O.D.; she was 176, 45 at her lowest.

@HumH O.D. was skinny in this shoot and most of the other P.H. shoots. Believe me, it's hardest to get a skinnier butt. Mine is skinnier than hers was, but it takes work! O.D. looks like a cow these days. Most anorexics either get fat or die young. I would prefer the latter. But I have things under control.
