@ruralman2019
I see, thank you. Than it is Ligia oceanica.
But it can`t be found anywhere close to me :(

Franzganz , see where you can find it :

Huh... apparently there are two sorts of "sea lice", larvae of jellyfish and a parasite which feed on salmons. I suppose yours are the first type. Don`t their bites cause havy swelling and itching ?

@skewermyballs
Yes, of course, he/she strongly holds its pray , so it can
eat in peace.

@Carla_sissy
And even more interesting to feel :)
07 Dec 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Now that is a nasty one :) Cool !
Any biting involved ?

Pretty selfconfident little creature, knows exactly where to go :) Really nice. What kind of creature is that ?
06 Dec 2019 DrJeckyll commented
@Bugynn
Might be so, I wouldn`t know :)
But I am quite happy not being zombie, cause I can feel and that is a precious gift :)
No problem, thanks to all members who contribute videos, pictures, and experiences to all, I am just a tiny little part of community.

Impressive , thank you !
Have to try ...

@Bugynn
I suppose its one of Slipha, most probably one of Thanatophilus. That is right, thy might even feed on cocraches.
Yes , it did. Tries to remove a piece of meat. But not as much as I want ;) Probably I am not decaying yet :D

@Bugynn
I found it on the ground. There is a garden nearby, maybe was something decaying there, but I didn`t se anything of sort. Yes, the guy on the picture is the same as "my".
01 Dec 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Sorry , I don`t know . Some kind of larvae i think.
28 Nov 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Indeed ! But we managed it somehow :)
05 Nov 2019 DrJeckyll commented
well, some do that , other must be directed and than continue on ther own and some don`t...
Mybe you can train them :)

It just wandered in our cellar :)
The second in 14 days
31 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
They are disgustingly nice :) Like them...
31 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
That is relly nice :) Would like to find some.
Thank you.
18 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Good luck :) The best are big, green ones, but they fly well and are hard to catch. This year was bad hunting season, find only small examples.
18 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Yes, they do. There must be one video, where you can see a piece of meat falling from its jaws...
18 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
This is very subjective. I would say: more intense :)
Mantises feed more on the surface, while grasshoppers
go in-depth.
18 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Yes, I have to stop, because the blood was everywhere :)
Lucky enough to catch it on video, unfortunately blurry, but anyway...
16 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Nothing heroic about it :) Just pleasure ! If it wpouldn`t be pleasurable , I wouldn˙t do it, I am not a masochist ;)
16 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Hehe, here you are wrong . It`s an old Cannon Powershot , a "trotel-sicher" as would discribe it our colegues from Germany :) , but it is small an has a nice macro capabilities. Even movies are made with it. I can hardly imagine manipulating a complex, clumsy and big "real" camera during a "session" :)
15 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Its not that hard :) Some are pretty keen to bite, some has to iritate a bit
15 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
after you try grasshopper or locust, this is more psycho than pain game :9
15 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
huh, can `t remember,,,
14 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Pretty ferocious kind:)
Sorry, I don`t know
14 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
It did, several times. On shot they are deep inside
14 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
@frodo2018
as you said : exquisitely :)
13 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
@YoungVirgin99

Just put them close to whatever you want them to eat.
13 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Hm, you should know the feeling, almost tender :)
10 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
Huh, depends on how many of them use in one session, but usually not very long. a few days before you can be a meal again :)
10 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
@FeedEm
I`m glad you like it. But the grasshoppers are more feroucious, they dig deep .
10 Oct 2019 DrJeckyll commented
@FeedEm
Usually on stroll in the nature , mostly on the fields with high grass.
Yes, I made a video, in fact several videos, will come in the future.
