@MiG_21 Thanks. I've "mastered" Topaz Video Enhance AI version 2.3. I put this video through an AI deinterlacer and then experimented with several filters to do a second pass, which didn't do much to enhance detail, but also removed garbage instead of adding more garbage. But the core of this quality is the fact that I'm old enough to have the physical DVDs of Dr. Don that he used to ship to people. This isn't upscaled from his MPEG-1 clips, but from interlaced DVD VOB, which is higher

@AWS_Man I appreciate that you support PKF. But my tastes are different. I've seen way too many PKF videos with pre-mortem sex (which is just regular porn that I have ZERO interest in). Most of this video is just a porn custom with a gun, and it has zero post-mortem erotica. To me, that is bland, as it does nothing for me. That's why I made an effort to salvage everything from it that is NOT pre-mortem sex.

@knottedwillow Thank you. I used the website called play.ht . Among the basic voices there was one that actually sounded like a young woman as opposed to a 50-year-old Karen. I since then paid for a month of their service so I can use a premium voice with more customization for my next project.

NOTE ON VIDEO QUALITY: this is my 2nd AI Restoration attempt of this film. I have the original 352x240 MPEG-1 file that I purchased back when dinosaurs walked the Earth. Due to MPEG-1 having CBR (constant bitrate), these forest scenes absolutely murder image quality, and AI upscaler makes wrong guesses which turn people's faces into monsters. Thus, now I settled for a less aggressive AI, which removed heavy artifacting and conservatively increased detail where it was safe to make guesses.

@WellShit9966 Thanks. I use Topaz Video Enhance 2.x. I've been experimenting with this stuff for a while, and these 352x240 MPEG-1s are the most unstable due to CBR usage, some of them require different algorithms, settings, or even 2 passes. These last few ones were ran with 200% Artemis Low and then another pass with 200% Artemis Medium, but I'm now trying to redo Hunt 2005 and I have to use something else to avoid AI giving people distorted monster faces at distance.

Those 352x240 MPEG-1 files are tricky as they appear to use CBR, there's no built-in deblocking, and encoding quality varies wildly, basically each clip requires an individual approach based on its lighting and environment density.
